Users can extract even more from their scooters: customize them to their exact needs, or protect them from theft. All of this is achieved through the official Teverun app.

The great advantage is that you don’t have to search for and download different app versions depending on the model you own. There is only one official Teverun app, and it is intelligent enough to adapt automatically to your specific machine.

This article serves as a practical guide to show you what features you can find in the interface and how the entire ecosystem works.

Modern e-scooters are essentially high-performance computers on wheels. Every day, they prove this with increasingly advanced features. Although the Teverun app offers the option to update the firmware of various hardware components (displays, controllers, or the BMS), you must remember one fundamental safety rule:

ALWAYS perform any upgrade exclusively based on direct information and instructions provided by us or your authorized dealer. Never download third-party installation files (.apk or binaries) found freely on the internet. Installing unverified software risks permanently bricking the control units, voiding your warranty, and causing highly dangerous vehicle behavior while riding.

For all Teverun models compliant with German eKFV regulations (Straßenzulassung), which exclusively utilize the Lite version of the app, any firmware upgrades are strictly forbidden unless you are explicitly prompted to do so by your dealer.

If you attempt a firmware update on an eKFV model regardless, it can completely lock up the display and other critical components, rendering the scooter entirely unrideable. Restoring the scooter to its original state is highly complex, can only be performed at an authorized service center, and is financially costly as it is not covered under warranty.

When you launch the app and pair it with your e-scooter, the system instantly recognizes the model and its hardware configuration.

• Lite Interface: Activates automatically when connected to classic mainstays like the Teverun Blade Mini or Blade GT II, as well as all German road-legal eKFV models. This environment is stable, straightforward, and contains all vital performance management tools. While it formerly carried a purple accent, it is now officially designated as the Lite version by the manufacturer.
• App 2.0 Interface (Modern White Design): If the app detects the latest generation of machines, a brief notification regarding an additional software download will appear on the screen. The download is extremely fast, and the interface immediately transforms into a sleek, modern white design tailored for advanced hardware.

• Home Screen: Features a digital speedometer, current riding mode, battery status (SOC in %), and real-time current draw for both the front and rear motors. Quick-access icons at the bottom allow you to switch motor modes with a single click, toggle kick-start settings, or jump to light adjustments.
• Basic Settings (Setting): Contains parameters for wheel diameters and system voltage—change these values only in strict accordance with the user manual.
• Advanced Settings: Allows you to configure the speed limit, overheat protection, and the throttle activation method (Kick Start). We strongly recommend keeping the kick-start feature enabled. Starting a dual-motor scooter from a complete standstill using only the throttle finger lever is significantly more dangerous.
• Ride Parameters (Assist Parameter): Configures the scooter’s behavior for individual speed levels (Assist 1 to 3). For each level, you can adjust the maximum speed limit in %, the acceleration smoothness (start level) for the front and rear motors, and the maximum current limits.
• Lighting Control (LED Settings): Provides a full RGB color spectrum to customize the deck and stem pod lighting, adjust brightness, and select dynamic light animation modes.
• Battery Diagnostics (Battery): Displays total voltage, current draw, charge cycle counter, temperatures, and a comprehensive breakdown of the voltage of each individual cell pack (typically 6-10 cells per pack) to ensure perfect balancing.

The new generation introduces a clean white design and reflects a major technological leap—an integrated GPS module with its own SIM card built directly into the scooter, keeping the machine constantly online.

How the SIM Card Works: The factory SIM card is included in the price of the machine and comes with a pre-loaded data package. Once this data expires, connectivity must be renewed—you can either physically swap the card for your own SIM with a data plan, or extend and pay for the existing data package directly on the manufacturer’s website.

• Location Tracking (Find Car & Fence): Under the Location Services section, you can monitor the scooter’s precise location on a map in real-time and set up a digital geofence (Fence). If the scooter leaves this secure zone, your phone will alert you instantly.
• Smart Button (I BUTTON): A programmable physical button on the handlebars. In the app, you can assign it one of the following functions:
  • Motor: Quickly toggles between single-motor and dual-motor drive.
  • Kick Start: Enables or disables the push-to-start requirement (again, we strongly recommend keeping it on).
  • Auto Cruise: Activates or deactivates the cruise control feature.
  • Limit Speed: Instantly turns the speed limiter on or off.
  • Lock Scooter: Electronically locks the scooter—engages the alarm module and locks the wheels against movement.
  • TCS: Toggles the Traction Control System on or off.
  • Led Switch: Quickly turns the ambient LED lighting on or off.
  • Led Mode Switch: Cycles through your saved lighting animation profiles.
  • Turbo: Exclusively available for the Supreme 7260R model—unleashes the absolute maximum peak power output of the machine.
• Safe Mode: Restricts the scooter’s top speed strictly to 25 km/h. Perfect for beginners, when lending the scooter to someone, or navigating tight urban environments.
• Traction Control (TCS Mode): Eliminates wheel spin on wet, slippery, or loose surfaces, drastically improving safety on powerful dual-motor setups.
• Advanced Security: Features an anti-theft alarm (Anti-theft Mode) with adjustable shock-sensor sensitivity, automatic ambient light sensing (Light Sensing), and acoustic voice feedback.
• Light Show: A modernized, visually clean interface to manage colors and dynamic modes of the RGB ambient lighting system.
• Automated Fault Diagnosis: With a single tap, you can scan the vehicle for errors. It tells you exactly where a potential issue lies. For instance, if a connector has rattled loose or disconnected, the app pinpoints the fault location and provides troubleshooting steps, allowing you to resolve minor issues instantly.
• Trip Statistics: Offers clean visual graphs detailing total mileage, longest single trip, total energy consumption in kWh, and dynamic average consumption per 100 km.
